They had this tent where you could get all you could eat ice cream for $3. They had BYU creamery, creamsicles, ice cream sandwhiches, Dreyers, and several more I can't remember. They also had all the toppings you wanted. It was great on a hot day like it was. The girls were in heaven. Jada's shirt was completely soaked with melted ice cream. It was so gross, but I don't think she cared much!

We met up with our friends and neighbors, the Harris' at the ice cream tent and then saw the sea lion show with them.

Okay, they might me seals, I can't remember, but it was SO COOL!!

We told the girls they could go on one ride because the tickets were so dang expensive. They chose this catepillar one that goes around and around and bounces you up and down as you go.  What a good choice, they loved it. Afterwards we had dinner and of course I had the best thing in the world! It's the main reason me and Antione go to the fair......the food!! I had the famous philly cheesesteak sandwhich with grilled mushrooms, at Moochies. YUM! We also had a tater swirly thing. Not quite sure what it's called but it's a cross between french fries and potato chips. Also, yum! And last but not least Antione had to have a corndog. We all had a good time and I couldn't eat one more thing the rest of the day!!

We took the girls to the zoo over labor day weekend. The weather was great and there wasn't that many people there. This year we didn't go on the train ride. Instead we saw the bird show which neither me or Antione had seen before. It was so cool. The birds would fly right over your head. I think the girls really liked it too.

First Day of School 2011

Ava all dressed and ready to go for her first day of preschool. Of course, Jada had to have new "school clothes" and new shoes. She also has on her Dora back pack. All this just to walk Ava to school. I think she is feeling a lot more let out this year with Ava and her cousin Kylie both going to the same school. Jada runs behind them and says, "wait for me guys, wait for me!" It is so darling but so sad when she realized that she wasn't going to go to school with them.

Couldn't get them to say cheese and pose for the picture with a smile so we went for the funny face.

 The girls were okay to look at the horse and pet it, but they did not want to ride it. The guy holding them owned the horses. Apparently he thought my girls were so cute!

Our ward had a daddy daughter camp out in August. I had to work Friday night so I thought it would be  perfect for Antione to take the girls. Ava had been asking a lot about going camping. We weren't able to go as a family so I was so glad that Antione took the girls. They stayed overnight at this place down by Strawberry Ressevoir.  (sp?) They had a candy cannon, horseback riding, shooting guns, water balloon fight, movie, and of course some really great food! Antione said the girls had a blast. He also enjoyed himself too. Hopefully they can make it an annual thing!
