Something got messed up so some of these pics are out of order. This is a picture of me and Antione after he volunteered at the Tongan village and they gave him this really cool crown made out of leaves. He was a celebrity the rest of the night. Everywhere we went someone recognized him from the show. Way to represent Utah babe!

I think we were the only Americans on the boat.
If you look real close in the background you can see the guy with a long pole. They put those poles in the water and then push real hard to move the boat. They always look they are going to fall into the water because they lean so far back.

Inside the Tahitian village being taught a native dance. The Tahitians are the ones that dance where they shake there hips. This is what most people think hula is.
They make it look so easy but I could never shake my hips the way those women do.

At the Luau....look real close and you can see two men in blue skirts that are cooking a large pig over the fire pit.

They called everyone up on stage who were celebrating an anniversary. They recognized each one of us by how many years we had been married. Then they had us dance with each other to traditional Hawaiian music. It was so romantic and a perfect way to spend our anniversary day. Look real close and you can seen us on the stage, on the left side. I am wearing white pants. Again, theses pictures were taken with the disposable camera....better than nothing!!

At the Samoan village....one of our favorites. This man just ripped off the outside shell of a coconut with a big stick stuck in the ground and his hands.
Here he is opening the inside shell of the coconut with just a sharp rock. You have to hit it in just the right spot. This guy was very entertaining.
It is so amazing how fast these Samoan men climb up the coconut trees.

This was the only picture we could take at the night show, called The Breath of Life. It was so good. They wouldn't let you take any pictures when the show was going on. It was beautiful story about the circle of life. A man is born, his childhood, he grows up and goes out on his own, finds a wife, has a child of his own and then the one who gives him life dies. One of the highlights of the show was the fire dancers.....amazing!!
